GFT representatives have been working with the Legislature on amending the Professional Educator Conduct Law since its passage in December 2014, when it was lapsed into law. Senator Won Pat, the author of the Bill, agreed to amend the law to address GFT’s concerns. GFT continues to work with Senator Won Pat and Senator Underwood to clear up any vague language in the law.
In the meantime, we encourage teachers, administrators, interested school personnel and all other stakeholders to attend the free Professional Development Training on Educator Misconduct hosted by the Guam Commission for Educator Certification and UOG School of Education.
