Several members spoke at last night’s General Membership meeting expressing the issues at their work sites.  Union leaders focused on using collective action as a means to address these issues.  “You can easily break one pencil but you can’t break a hundred together,” stated Doris Terlaje, DOE Chair and Board-Union representative.  Other union leaders continued to express the need for workers to stand together and take action on issues affecting their working conditions.  GFT field representatives will be working with members in addressing the issues discussed.
