The GFT has made every effort in ensuring that Bill 420 on Educator Professional Conduct Standards was revised to include clear language that will not wrongfully harm an educator’s career. The Bill was lapsed into law with some of GFT’s suggested changes. GFT will be meeting next week with Senator Nerissa Underwood, who is now overseeing the Committee on Education, to discuss the newly passed law in hopes of addressing additional concerns that were not included.
