Governor Calvo sent a letter to Speaker Won Pat asking the Legislature to review Bill 420-32 on Professional Educator Conduct, which lapsed into law as Public Law 32-236, and take appropriate action to ensure that all educators and school administrators have a voice. Calvo attached GFT’s letter with our concerns to the Bill for the Legislature’s review. Senator Underwood has informed GFT that she is working on ensuring teachers are informed and provided opportunities for input. You may view Governor Calvo’s letter here.
