On Monday, Port General Manager, Joanne Brown, along with the Port Legal Counsel, Attorney Mike Phillips, appeared in Court and presented to Judge Mike Bordallo a nonsensical argument for not forwarding the Port-GFT Collective Bargaining Agreement to the Attorney General.   Management believes it is the responsibility of the Port Authority Board of Directors to forward the CBA and not Joanne Brown.  This is obviously another way to stall the CBA process as Brown has publicly stated numerous times her opposition to the CBA that has been signed and ratified by both the Port management and GFT in November 2012.  Judge Bordallo has taken the matter under advisement.  GFT will continue to work with its Attorneys on other legal actions to protect the rights of our Port employees.
