Port employees have been working under unsafe conditions for the past months with no working headlights on the top-lifter machine, only two out of five working gantry cranes and poor lighting in the yard. Daily reports are submitted to the supervisors indicating equipment in need of repair or replacement. However, employees claim that no repairs or replacements have been made. A possible grievance may be initiated by the employees if management fails to resolve the problem.
