Fourteen employees at the Guam Waterworks Authority won back their promotions after management rescinded the new position and pay. In 2015, the employees were given promotions with official documentation. However, a few months later the promotions were taken away.
Through GFT’s Legal Representation from Attorney Josh Walsh of Civille and Tang, the employees appealed the case as an improper demotion at the Civil Service Commission. GWA management agreed to a settlement to give back the promotions. The promoted positions and pay were reinstated to all fourteen employees including back pay.
