GFT Board – Union representative, Franklin Perez, brought forth concerns from GFT members regarding school safety, repairs and payroll deductions at the last Guam Education Board meeting held on November 30th.  Safety issues from gym roofing damage, volatile electrical systems and sewage piping at some of the older schools were brought up as well as the criteria for prioritizing renovations and repairs at these schools.  Lastly, Union representative, Franklin Perez, also inquired about issues with the accuracy of DOE payroll deductions.  GFT representatives will continue following up on the status of these issues. The next Guam Education Board meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, December 27th at George Washington High School cafeteria at 6pm.
