GFT Member and former employee of the Port Authority of Guam, Ken Yoshida, was given a fifteen-day suspension in 2013 by the Port Authority Management alleging that Yoshida failed to follow the break schedule and took an unauthorized break.  Management did not provide the break schedule to justify their claims to the Civil Service Commission (CSC).  GFT Field Representative, David Babauta, represented Yoshida before the CSC and proved that Management’s allegations were wrong.  The CSC ruled in favor of the employee and GFT member.   Yoshida will receive full back pay from the suspension.
