There will be a Public Hearing on Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at 4pm in the Guam Congress Building on Bill 352-34 which proposes to remove the three (3) appointed Guam Education Board members, change the board terms from two (2) to four (4) years and make Non-Voting Members as Voting Members of the board. The passage of this bill will allow the GFT Board – Union representative to vote on board decisions making a huge impact in the working conditions of teachers and support staff and the education of our children. All teachers, support staff, parents, students, and all other stakeholders are highly encouraged to attend this hearing to testify and support Bill 352-34.
