The Guam Education Board’s Finance and Budget Committee will be holding public input sessions over the next two weeks seeking community feedback regarding budget constraints for the Guam Department of Education. Members of the community are invited to discuss existing options and generate new ideas on how to best cut expenses. GFT encourages all stakeholders to participate and provide input on how the department can excel during this dire financial crunch.  

Public input sessions:

  • Merizo Martys Elementary School – February 21, 2018 at 6pm at the school cafeteria
  • Agueda Johnston Middle School – February 26, 2018 at 6pm at the school cafeteria
  • Liguan Elementary School – February 27, 2018 at 6pm at the school cafeteria

Oral or written testimony may be submitted during the meetings or via email at ijbbaza@gdoe.net. Oral testimony will be limited to three minutes per person to ensure all attendees have the opportunity to participate.
