At the court hearing last Monday, Judge Lamorena agreed and confirmed to take on the Law Enforcement Retirement case. GFT had filed a Writ of Mandate against the Government of Guam Retirement Fund for erroneous calculations of retirement earnings for officers who received the lump sum increase as a result of PL 29-105. Both parties have submitted the case for decision upon the written briefs. The case is now under judicial consideration.
