The officers of GFT spent this week meeting with various senators to talk about the everyday challenges faced by our membership. Most of the discussions revolved around the lagging pay for members under the General Pay Plan, unsafe working conditions, unemployment insurance, healthcare costs, budgetary concerns, and emergency pay issues. Senator Chris “Malafunkshun” Barnett along with other members of the 37th Guam Legislature have been highly receptive on hearing our concerns.
