The Collective Bargaining Agreement negotiations for GMHA Nurses have been reopened after GFT Chief Negotiator, Daniel Del Priore, met with the GMHA management representatives for clarification on management’s requested changes to the final draft. Working conditions such as safe staffing, floating to other units, overtime justification and pay and leave periods are some of the items to be addressed in the negotiations. The existing Collective Bargaining Agreement is active and in full effect until a new agreement has been finalized. The current CBA covers all registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, and certified nurse assistants (full-time and part-time) at GMHA.
